Third-Party AI Sub-Processors

Last Updated: May 23, 2026

Unlayer uses third-party artificial intelligence service providers ("AI Sub-Processors") to deliver the AI Features available within the Unlayer software. This page lists the AI Sub-Processors we currently use, their purpose, and links to their privacy policies and data processing terms.

If you have questions about how we handle your data in connection with the AI Features, please contact us at support@unlayer.com or review our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

What Is an AI Sub-Processor?

When you use the AI Features in Unlayer (such as the AI Assistant, AI Importer, or image generation), the prompts and content you submit ("AI Inputs") are transmitted to third-party AI service providers for processing. These providers generate the AI output and return it to Unlayer, which delivers it to you in the editor. We refer to these providers as AI Sub-Processors.

AI Sub-Processors process your AI Inputs solely to generate the requested output. They do not use your data to train or improve their models, and they are contractually required to delete your data in accordance with agreed retention schedules.

  • Processed only to fulfill your request — AI Sub-Processors may not use your data for any purpose other than generating the requested AI output;
  • Deleted after processing in accordance with the retention schedules listed above.

For customers in the European Economic Area, data transferred to AI Sub-Processors in the United States is protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) in accordance with GDPR requirements. For customers in the United Kingdom, data transferred to AI Sub-Processors in the United States is protected by the UK Addendum to EU Standard Contractual Clauses, in accordance with UK GDPR requirements.
